LittlePiecesOfArt, edition for AtojazZ '2024

DIY at its finest 👌

Anyone who has touched the A to JazZ Festival has felt the unadulterated atmosphere and charge that this event brings. Its scale, opulence, spectacle... perhaps the festivals in Bulgaria that can come close to the experience can be counted on the fingers.

And precisely because of this specific atmosphere, I chose to participate as an exhibitor in the art bazaar.

As a first-time participant, I had no idea what to expect. I knew that I would have a 3x3 meter booth, a table and a chair. I went the first day and ... I saw this black table, which Ok, aaaah... it's not my thing at all, I didn't like the green color of the tent either, but I had no choice here.

I pushed the day crooked-left, but at night I spinned, I couldn't put up with this table... I got up, I went to IKEA - countertops, legs, from there to Praktiker - pig tails and duct tape and here I go!! The construction! Something out of nothing!

If there was a ranking for the wackiest market stall look, I think I'd be in the top three, for example. 😁

Most valuable, of course, were the reactions of people who came across my work for the first time! Perhaps the most touching moment for me was how one child, his parents had given him money to buy something from the bazaar, and out of everything, everything, everything that flashed and glowed around, he chose a framed picture for his room! 🥹

Next year, if I participate again, I will raise something even wackier, because the festival is worth it!

The great composer knows that he isn't the author of the music. In the best case he can be called it's co-author. The great composer knows, that he is the first to adopt an already existing melody. And that's enough for him. This is also true for the artist and the writer. All else would be pretension of a vain human personality, which insists on it's larger significance, over all other personalities, whenever it gets the opportunity. As if that matters at all...
